#pluslife friends... this result came back negative, but to me it looks like testing the same person in a day or so might turn positive, so caution is warranted. what do you think?

You could also run a second test right away to see if you duplicate the results. And make sure your subject clears their throat or coughs before swabbing to try to get a really good sample.
A second test that looks the same as this one would definitely substantiate a need to maintain precautions and test again tomorrow or in two days, at your discretion.
A clear negative on a second test today would reassure me that they are not presently infectious, but I might also test again the next day to be sure.
But tests aren’t cheap or easy to get, so the most economical strategy would just be to err on the safe side and maintain precautions and test again once in two days!
